Any files you put in this folder, the 'MyWeb' folder, are accessible from the internet at http://myweb.msoe.edu/welch/
For example, there is a sample image file named sample.jpg in the subfolder named MyPhotos in your MyWeb folder. That file can be accessed from the internet at http://myweb.msoe.edu/welch/MyPhotos/sample.jpg, or it can be displayed in a webpage, as it is in this one, like this:

If you were to put some new files now in your MyWeb folder, bear in mind that they would not be viewable simply by going to http://myweb.msoe.edu/welch/. Instead, all you would see there is this page you're reading now, which is the file named 'index.html'. That file is acting as an index file for the MyWeb folder. That's normal website behavior. If you instead want to see a list of the files in the folder, just delete or rename the file named index.html. For an example of what a folder with no index file looks like, goto your MyPhotos folder.
