General Lab Information

Most of the information on this lab assignment can be found here.

A starting point template for this report is located here.

Specific Instructions

The following instructions are specific to CS-183 sections 2 and 6:

As with any report you submit, correct spelling and grammar are required. You should submit your report only once. In addition, your report should be submitted electronically following the Electronic submission guidelines. In particular, you are required to rename the output image filenames so that they begin with your MSOE login name. Be sure to take special note of the instructions on how to include the images in your report. Be sure to keep copies of all your files, in case something gets lost. It may be wise to keep a diskette backup as well.

Lab report (due 11:00pm, the day prior to week 5)

Your lab grade will be determined by the following factors:

  • Meeting specifications
  • Technical quality
  • Design documentation
  • Internal documentation (comments)
  • Program clarity (formatting, etc.)
  • Narrative report
  • Activity log (similar to the last lab)
  • Correct program output
  • Spelling and grammar
  • Extra credit
  • Timeliness of submission

Just For Fun

You may wish to modify with the driver.cpp program to make additional images. This is fine, so long as you do not change the output of the three required images (out1.jpg, out2.jpg, and out3.jpg).

If you have any questions, consult your instructor.
