Lab Deliverables (due 11:00pm, the day prior to week 9 lab)

Each student should indicate how much time you spend on this assignment in the FAST system. You are encouraged to log your activity as you work on the project. At a minimum, you should log all of the time spent on this assignment before the due date given above. All time spent on this assignment should be entered into the week 8 column (even if you worked on it in week 9).

The UML class diagrams should be submitted in hardcopy by the end of the first lecture in week 9.

The Java source files should be submitted electronically here. Make Car.java the first file (Report File) and CarTester.java the second file (Support File). You should include a brief discussion in the comments at the top of your CarTester class that describe what interesting things you learned while working on this assignment.

Your grade will be based on the following:

  • Code Quality (55 points)
    • Organization/Simplicity
    • Choice of identifier names
    • Completeness of implementation and testing
    • Choice of fields/methods
    • Etcetera
  • Brief Discussion (25 points)
    • Insightfulness
    • Grammar/Spelling
    • Demonstration of thought while working on the assignment
  • Header Documentation (5 points)
  • Method/Body Documentation (10 points)
  • FAST entry in week 8 (5 points)
