Some Basic Information on the MSEM MSEM Value Proposition and Vision Course Outlines Tracks: Note that the tracks for the part-time thesis and specialization project programs are simply suggestions. Many students take courses in a somewhat different sequence, depending on when they start the program and where classes are offered. The cohort (suite) program, by contrast, is a lockstep program, so that the suites are normally offered only in the term shown on the track. Students are expected to use this guide for all their MSEM papers. Thesis Information EM-798i: Thesis Part I EM-798 offers a number of exercises aimed at helping get started on the thesis, particularly by developing a proposal. Some students register for this as a separate course, completely the thesis with EM-805, rather than EM-804. However, these exercises can be used by anyone who finds them useful.
