GATS - November 2005

The Great American Train Show (technically the Great Western and Atlantic Train Show) was held at the Clark County Fairgrounds near Vancouver, Washington on November 12-13, 2005. This was the first train show I brought my digital camera to, and I discovered that pictures of moving model trains usually don't come out.

Vendors

There were some rare and legendary Lionel trains for sale by some of the vendors at this show.

Lionel Standard (No. 1) Gauge 3-Car State Set. I believe this is the Olympian.

Z-Scale

I'm not sure exactly who was displaying these small layouts, but they were fascinating.

Longview, Kelso & Rainier Model Railroad Club

As my dad is a member, and this was the first time I'd seen the Longview, Kelso & Rainier Model Railroad Club's new layout in some time, it got the bulk of the pictures.
